Bratislava

Bratislava, capital of Slovakia, stretches along the Danube River near the border with Austria and Hungary. It is surrounded by vineyards and the mountainous region of the Little Carpathians, crossed by wooded paths where hiking and cycling can be practiced. The old town, built in the 18th century, is pedestrian-only and is notable for its lively bars and cafes. Located on top of a hill, the reconstructed Bratislava Castle overlooks the old town and the Danube.

Bratislava Castle

Located on top of a hill overlooking the city, Bratislava Castle is a symbol of the city. The castle dates back to the 9th century and has been rebuilt several times over the centuries. Today, it houses the Slovak National Museum and offers impressive views of the city.

Old Town

The old town of Bratislava is a charming maze of cobblestone streets, picturesque squares, and historic buildings. Here you will find Michael's Gate, the only remaining gate of the medieval city, the Main Square (Hlavné námestie), with its old town hall and the Blue Church (Modrý kostol), a beautiful art nouveau church.
