Santorini
Santorini is one of the Cyclades islands in the Aegean Sea. It was devastated by a volcanic eruption in the 16th century BC, which shaped its rugged landscape. The whitewashed cubic houses in its 2 main towns, Fira and Oia, cling to the cliffs above a subterranean crater. They have views of the sea, the small islands to the west, and the beaches of white, red, and black lava pebbles.
Santorini Caldera
The Santorini caldera is a large volcanic caldera, much of which is submerged, located in the southern part of the Aegean Sea, 120 kilometers from Crete in Greece.
Akrotiri
Acrotiri, also Akrotiri, is an archaeological site located on the island of Santorini, also called Thera, which forms a small archipelago, in turn part of the southern Cyclades, located 100 km north of Crete.
