Santorini

Fira (also known as Thera) is the modern capital of the Greek island of Santorini, in the Cyclades islands of the Aegean Sea. A thriving and picturesque town built on the edge of a caldera, it offers breathtaking views of the ocean and the surrounding islands. The town features classic whitewashed houses, blue-domed churches, and narrow, winding streets filled with shops, cafes, and restaurants. As the main hub of the island, Fira is the heart of Santorini's tourism, cultural events, and nightlife, drawing visitors from around the world. Its location makes it a strategic starting point for exploring the rest of Santorini, including its beautiful beaches, historic sites, and culinary delights.

Santorini

Santorini is one of the Cyclades islands in the Aegean Sea. It was devastated by a volcanic eruption in the 16th century BC, which shaped its rugged landscape. The whitewashed cubic houses in its 2 main towns, Fira and Oia, cling to the cliffs above a subterranean crater. They have views of the sea, the small islands to the west, and the beaches of white, red, and black lava pebbles.
