Kalambaka

Kalambaka, also spelled Kalampaka, is a town in the Trikala regional unit, Thessaly, Greece. It is situated at the foot of the Meteora, a complex of massive rock formations that host one of the largest and most precipitously built complexes of Eastern Orthodox monasteries. Kalambaka is a popular tourist destination due to its proximity to Meteora, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. The town offers a range of amenities, including hotels, restaurants, and shops catering to tourists and pilgrims visiting the monasteries.

Meteora
