Sarande

Sarandë is a town and municipality in Vlorë County, located in southern Albania along the Albanian Riviera. With a population of around 20,000, it is an important tourist destination and port town known for its picturesque beaches, vibrant nightlife, and cultural heritage, including the ancient archaeological site of Butrint. Saranda

Sarandë is a tourist center on the Albanian Riviera, in the south of the country. Located between the Ionian Sea and mountains full of olive groves, the town is in a horseshoe-shaped bay, bordered by beaches and a seaside promenade. In the center are the archaeological remains of a 5th-century synagogue, which later became an early Christian basilica. The elaborate mosaics on the floor can still be seen. The 16th-century Lëkurësi Castle is perched on a hilltop above the city.

Blue Eye Lagoon

El Ojo Azul, -often called Blue Eye in English- is, along with the Butrint National Park, one of the most visited places in Albania. Just 25 km from Saranda, near the traditional stone village of Musina, the freshwater spring is formed by a small lake that resembles a pool with beautiful shades of green and blue.
