Lëkurësi Castle

Lëkurësi Castle is a historic structure located atop a hill overlooking the town of Saranda and the Ionian Sea. Built in the 16th century by Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent, the castle offers picturesque views and a glimpse into Albania’s rich history. Butrint

Butrint is an ancient city located near Saranda, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The archaeological site includes ruins from Greek, Roman, Byzantine, and Ottoman periods, showcasing a remarkable journey through different epochs. Highlights include a well-preserved theatre, a basilica, and the Lion Gate. The site is surrounded by natural beauty, with views of the Vivari Channel and diverse wildlife.

Saranda

Sarandë is a tourist center on the Albanian Riviera, in the south of the country. Located between the Ionian Sea and mountains full of olive groves, the town is in a horseshoe-shaped bay, bordered by beaches and a seaside promenade. In the center are the archaeological remains of a 5th-century synagogue, which later became an early Christian basilica. The elaborate mosaics on the floor can still be seen. The 16th-century Lëkurësi Castle is perched on a hilltop above the city.

Blue Eye Lagoon

El Ojo Azul, -often called Blue Eye in English- is, along with the Butrint National Park, one of the most visited places in Albania. Just 25 km from Saranda, near the traditional stone village of Musina, the freshwater spring is formed by a small lake that resembles a pool with beautiful shades of green and blue.
