Discover everything about Kalahari

The Kalahari Desert is a large semi-arid sandy savanna in Southern Africa extending for 900,000 square kilometers, covering much of Botswana, parts of Namibia, and regions of South Africa. While the name 'Kalahari' might suggest a clear and singular location, it actually refers to a vast region rather than a specific town or city. The desert is known for its iconic red sand dunes, sparse vegetation, and is a significant area for indigenous cultures, wildlife, and natural beauty. Within Namibia, it encompasses an area that is less densely populated and is known more for its breathtaking landscapes and unique ecosystems rather than urban centers or island territories.
